Did you share a bedroom when you were growing up?

Yes, I shared a bedroom from my first day outside the womb until my sister left for college.
This isn't the norm today but was quite normal when I was growing up.  We rather enjoyed having someone to play with when we had to go to bed when we weren't tired and didn't have to get up early the next morning.  Unfortunately, we had too much fun a couple of nights.  We enjoyed jumping on the bed.  The first time we broke the bed, Dad came in to repair it but the second time, we slept on a broken bed and didn't jump on the bed again.  It was difficult to find a comfortable place on a bed that had one corner on the floor and the other three on the bedframe.
We could talk to each other and tell our secrets without our brothers hearing.  With two of us in the room, the monsters didn't bother us and in the winter, we each had a warming pad in the bed next to us even though we wouldn't sleep under the same blanket.  That was something Mom couldn't understand.
The one serious problem was that when my older sister left for college, my wardrobe usually left with her and I didn't get my clothes back until she came home for the holidays.  When they returned, they had to be cleaned and sometimes repaired.
When my sister married, I had a bedroom to myself for two years until I got married and again shared a bedroom.
