I went to Central High School aka the school in the midst of the cornfield. Our nickname was the Comets and our colors were blue and white. I said it was the school in the midst of the cornfields and it was. We would look out the windows to the front-cornfields, the windows to the rear--the athletic field and cornfield. There were no windows on the sides but if there were --guess what you would see-- yes, cornfields. The fields were useful to us on at least on occasion. We had a geometry teacher that we really didn't like. One day during his class, we all sat in our chairs and stared out the windows. The teacher called us to attention and we turned to face him and then went back to staring out the windows. Finally, he went and stared out the window and we looked to the front. A very silly thing to do but we were young and not as clever as the classes to follow who put Playboy centerfolds into the roll down charts. I went to Knox College, Kankakee Community College and Cleveland State Community College where I received an associate of arts degree.
This was a pretty boring question. Hope tomorrow is more interesting.
